Meet the Women Behind the Boards

Spoiler alert: we don’t do boring dinners.

At Ella Mack Grazing Co., we believe life’s too short to settle for just one thing on your plate. Why not have a little bit of everything? Cheese, fruit, meat, pickles, crackers, sweet, spicy, salty... it’s the ultimate dinner mood board, and we’re here for it.

We're the duo behind the coochie boards (yes, we know it’s charcuterie, but we’re rolling with it), and the reason your wine nights, backyard hangs, and wedding cocktail hours taste as good as they look.

  • Chevelle is the creative force behind Ella Mack Grazing Co. — the kind of person who’s never settled for just one dinner option (total buffet girlie energy) and has always been drawn to the beauty of a perfectly styled board. The contrast, the colour, the texture — and of course, the vibe. Give her a coochie board, a bottle of red, and a table full of good people, and she’s in her element.

She’s the brains behind the brand, constantly dreaming up wild ideas at midnight and turning casual wine nights into creative planning sessions. Always chasing the next best recipe or unique pairing, Chevelle blends artistry with flavour to design unforgettable graze experiences. From house-pickled vegetables to signature spreads and seasonal touches, her boards are anything but ordinary.

Her recent obsession? Sourdough. Handcrafted loaves, made with love, have become a signature upgrade on many of her boards — adding that warm, rustic, golden-crusted touch that transforms every graze into a gourmet experience.

What started as a love for entertaining and connection has evolved into a full-blown passion project. For Chevelle, these boards aren’t just about food — they’re about storytelling, celebration, and creating moments people remember. Whether she’s curating an intimate date-night box or styling a full wedding grazing table, she pours her heart into every bite.

  • Lisa – Co-Founder, The Garden Queen & Keeper of Tradition

Lisa is the matriarchal magic behind Ella Mack Grazing Co. — the co-founder, the one with decades of kitchen wisdom, and a deep-rooted passion for Ukrainian food, family, and tradition. Her love for entertaining has always been more than just cooking; it’s been about bringing people together, creating connection, and building memories around the table.

With retirement on the horizon and a lifetime of flavour-packed experience under her apron, it only made sense that the next chapter would be a creative one. Chevelle saw it clearly: Lisa wasn’t done building something meaningful — she was just getting started. Together, they turned a dream of “just a few coochie boards” into a community-rooted business built on heritage, hospitality, and homegrown goodness.

Summers are spent side by side in the garden — elbows deep in dirt, harvesting dill, cucumbers, carrots, and whatever else is ripe and ready. Fall becomes canning season, when generations of tradition come to life in jars of pickled vegetables, savoury preserves, and seasonal spreads.

Their latest hit? A fiery-sweet Jalapeño Haskap Berry Jelly made with fruit picked from Rosy Farms. It’s bold, local, and exclusive to their boards — just like everything Lisa touches.

Her heart is in every graze, her fingerprints on every jar, and her spirit in every gathering. Because to Lisa, food isn’t just nourishment — it’s legacy.
